Whether people are shopping for groceries or gadgets, many people are adding to cart and checking out online more than before. A lot of people are finding it more convince that online shopping gives them as transformed consumer behavior and it is not slowing down.

In an article by Exploring Topics, 76% of people in the United States do their shopping online. Being able to pull a phone out of your pocket and be able to shop is the biggest reason that a lot of people are online shopping. On phones people have accesses to apps such as Amazon, Walmart, and even now you can shop on TikTok for items. A lot of retailer are using AI technology that will suggest items for one to purchase based off your browse history.

In a lot of families they have many different things going on in their day to day life online shopping has made it easier for them. Walmart has a option for their customers to order their items online. Customers can order their items online and pick a time that works best for them and pull in and have the items loaded into their car. After COVID a lot more customers are taking advantage of this option and many other copies have implemented similar programs as well.

As more customers continue to use online shopping as their go to source to obtain their needs it is only going to get smarter and improve. In the future we could see faster shipping times and more variety in what sites have to offer their customers.

There is still somethings that some people like to shop for in the stores. One of this things that most people like to do is pick their own fruit out for themselves instead of people picking them out for them. As online shopping keeps getting larger it is not only just an option anymore it’s a part of our daily lives.
